Teachers

Dr. Donald Qi has a Master of Education from Queen’s University and a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Toronto. With 10 years of experience teaching juniors, Dr. Qi is experienced in finding tailored avenues for students to engage in lessons and acquire expertise in English.

Mr. Daniel Huang is the Dean of Duke College and one of our English faculty members who has more than 30 years of experience in delivering English lessons. He is a graduate of Shanghai International Studies University with a degree in Secondary School English Education and has a Master of Education from Towson University. Mr. Huang is experienced in teaching IELTS exam preparation and ESL lessons to students of all ages.

Ms. Elham Bidarmanesh graduated from the Islamic Azad University and holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in English Language and Literature. She is a TESL certified teacher from Humber College and has five years of experiences delivering ESL tailored lessons to students.

Junyi Li has a Master of Education from the University of Windsor and is one of you faculty members that focuses on teaching English as an Additional Language to our junior students.

Ms. Maggie Chan has a background in Economics and is a TESL certified teacher from our ESL and English department. She is a graduate of the University of Western, Ontario and she has experience teaching students of various levels and ages.

Mr. Montes is one of our English and ESL teachers. With a degree in Anthropology and a Master of Education, Mr. Montes is an experienced faculty member who approaches ESL teaching through innovative and engaging techniques for students of all ages
